AG is the abbreviation of "Anti-Glare ". This process applies a special "matte" treatment on the surface of ordinary glass to disperse the concentrated reflection of external light on the glass surface to prevent glare effects-so The glass surface of the AG process has many small dense particles attached and is uneven, but when you brush your fingers on the AG glass, you can feel a very fine frosted feeling. At the same time, it will have a very comfortable and delicate skin-friendly texture. It is not as easy to contaminate fingerprints like ordinary glass.
There are currently three AG processes on glass, spraying, coating and chemical etching:
Spraying is the direct use of equipment to spray a layer of coating on the glass surface to form a concave-convex surface. It has low cost and high efficiency, but it has poor friction resistance.
Coating is first processed on the surface of the polarizer, and then the treated coating is covered on the surface of ordinary glass. The light transmittance is high, but the hardness is low and the touch is average.
Chemical etching is the most expensive of the three. The use of strong acid chemical etching is used to directly process the surface of the glass with concave and convex processing, so that the processing integration is the strongest, and the hardness, life and scratch resistance are also the highest-the lens of the iPhone 12 mini The matrix glass module uses a chemical etching process.
In fact, the hardness of metal is inferior to that of glass, that is to say, normal glass can withstand metal scratches from the surface-so these three lines may not be scratches, just the metal residue left by the metal scratching the surface , So it will be wiped off by the glasses cloth; and the hardness of the skin and nail cover is much lower than that of metal and glass, and it is unlikely that the residue will be wiped off in a short time.
